What is it?

I have a wildflower patch in my garden. I have let it do its thing for the past few years after attempting to get the kind of wildflowers I would like to grow. Thought I would leave it up to Mother Nature.
The recent heavy rain has encouraged growth but I'm puzzled as to one particular plant. It's very pretty but I haven't a clue what is.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks.

This made me laugh can’t see a photo but there’s an ad for a self propelled lawn mower!

Having checked out Google. I think it might be a variety of bellflower. It really is very pretty.....sorry you can't see it! ?

I have some of this and was trying to weed our garden this afternoon but I disturbed so many bees that I had to give up.

could it be Bats in the Belfry?

Although it's a bit early for that one. Mine isn't flowering yet.

Is it low growing?

Oh - is it a wildflower? I just paid £6.99 for one to plant in my rockery!
Mine is in full flower.

Been swizzled.

I started my bats-in-the-belfry from seed years ago and it crops up everywhere now. It's a couple of feet tall. But this one might not be that one.

It's about 18" high. Growing on clay soil in part shade.

Could it be a Canterbury Bell?

Auntieflo Thu 20-Jun-19 22:20:56

It does look like Canterbury bells, Emmasnan

MiniMoon Thu 20-Jun-19 22:23:42

Pretty sure it's Canterbury bells, or campanula medium.
