It's the blackbirds who are driving me mad! They're eating my raspberries before they're even ripe. They're very cheeky and don't get deterred even if I'm close to them. They got some big gooseberries I was watching ripen and are eyeing up the blackcurrants. Unfortunately the plants are growing in such as way that netting isn't practical.

They have our pears and walnuts too. 
The apples they seem to leave alone, hence my freezer always being full of apple.
This year three squirrels have taken up residence in our garden and are systematically plundering the apple tree....

So from saying ‘oh how cute’ as they sit on the fence and watch us in the conservatory, DH is now banging angrily on the windows.
