Romanesco

Has anyone had any success in growing this lovely veggie? All mine have bolted but still edible, cook it like purple sprouting and the taste is fabulous! Just a shame I don't seem to be able to keep that beautiful head of Romanesco. Any advice would be appreciated.

We always grew it when we had an allotment, I think we treated like cauliflower and in firm ground.

Love it though - buttery texture.

it is the most beuatiful vegetable- absolutely perfect.

And makes me weak at the knees everytime I see the name- as it was the name of my first and very beautiful boyfriend (lover) smile
