Does anyone know what this is please, several have appeared in my garden, at first I liked them but now they look untidy and spindly. Unable to post photo as I have had several goes.
It is about 2ft high about 3 ft wide, horrible rusty coloured leaves, lots of pink berries and some red. The stems look rusty too. I will have to dig them up but would like to have known what they were. Thank you.

Peony if you liked them before they got tall and spindly, why don’t you just prune them back and see what happens? They’ll probably improve no end.

Pheasant berry? Leycesteria formosa - sometimes self seeds in gardens, with drooping racemes of red bracts with white flowers, followed by red berries.

Thank you everyone, I think it's St Johns Wort. ?

My St. John’s Wort has yellow flowers and no rusty leaves or red berries (I don’t think)

I think it is not St Johns Wort, but it isn't pretty, I have counted six of them now and decided whatever they are, they have to go. I tried to like it but I don't so will let the birds gave the berries before I say good bye to whatever it is.
Thank you everyone.
