I call them Everlasting flowers. Next door neighbour used to grow them years ago as they were popular in the 50's.

Oh yes, Straw flowers. Haven't seen them for years, those and Statis used to be popular for drying.

Are these the flowers paddyanne.
My mother-in-law used to grow them to dry for flower arranging.

a small daisy type flower that feels like tinsel or paper.My late dad had them in our graden when we were wee.I've been adding to an old fashioned garden the past couple of years with things he grew but I cant find these flowers .I'm fairly sure if someone can come up with the name or even the latin name I'd recognise it .Fingers crossed someone remembers them and can help
