Cordless saw

I'm thinking of getting a cordless saw to cut branches that are too big for me with my little hand saw.

I wondered -
are they easy to use?
how long might a battery last?
what should I look for in that kind of saw?

I bought one in Lidl and it is brilliant. The battery charge lasts a fair time, at least long enough for me to complete the job.
