Hello all,

My clematis Koreana Amber looks like this!

The Montana Spring Joy is doing fine, as is the (evergreen) Winter Beauty and the Olympia.

I waited ages for the Koreana to be in stock, will be pretty miffed if it dies sad

I don't know much about varieties of clematis, but the ones we have which die off in winter and shoot and grow ten foot in spring are looking very similar. The common Montana is still rampantly green but isn't deciduous and looses its leaves later.

I don't know that particular one but www.rhsplants.co.uk/plants/_/clematis-koreana-amber-wit141205-pbr/classid.2000028062/ says it is deciduous so maybe it's just losing it's leaves for the winter.

It’s not an evergreen Phoenix there doesn’t look anything wrong with it to me, at this point in Autumn,

Just losing its leaves for winter. Soon you should see the small leaf buds that will emerge in the spring.
