Gravel Grids

Does anyone have these in their garden to keep the gravel/small stones in place. My garden is half flags and half loose gravel which is awkward to walk on, so I'm looking to have these put under the gravel to make it a bit more solid so to speak.

My brother in law installed some plastic grid type stuff so that he could push a wheelchair over the gravel. He seems pleased with it and it appears to have worked well. His is green with sort of pockets for the gravel if that makes sense.

We have similar under grass, where there is some heavy traffic and it seems to work for us.
