Any idea what this plant might be?

I just noticed some blue lobelia growing in cracks in the driveway. We've never planted any at the front.

I find blue lobelia popping up in all sorts of places from seed.

Thank you so much! It was driving me mad! I discovered the one lone stem in the photo directly below our balcony. At some point I must have had lobelia in the pots on the balcony and a stray seed landed in the flower bed below.
Mind you, it must have been 2 or 3 years ago at least.

I was having a (rare) tidy up in the garden today and discovered this plant. It is about 15cm tall and the flower is about 1cm across, maybe a bit less. Not something I've seen before. I've looked on line and in various books but can't identify it.
Hope somebody can enlighten me....please.
