Local Sainsbury’s (not a very big one) had lots of nice ones in the other day - about 4 inch pots at £1 each. Also cyclamen ditto.
My summer pots were starting to look very tired so I was pleased to find them. Just thought I’d mention in case anyone else might be interested.

Goodness - better get organised! Thank you.
I like to have pansies in pots so I can move them around. They are so cheerful.

Thats good to know, as I am always intending to do winter pots and baskets but never get round to it. So thank you! Do they flower throughout all of winter (you can see I am new to this!)?

Thanks for the heads up Witzend. I have a narrow, raised border in my front garden that I used to grow them in. My neighbours have built a brick wall alongside, about 6” higher so now the border only gets sun in the late afternoon and evening. Is it worth putting pansies in this autumn, do you think?

Pansies are lovely, brighten a dull day. Shall be getting mine very soon.

Just bought three packs yesterday from local garden centre. They are F1 pansies in beautiful colours , one is a deep Matt black with a yellow centre.
I bought some a year ago from this chap, and they have flowered for a whole ten months.
Lovely Little plants for for cheering a tired garden up this time of year.
