I don't know much about chillies but oregano will take over the whole garden if you let it.

I think the chillies will be fine, our tomatoes are only just ripening, but I'd re-pot the chilli plant, not sure how they over-winter - perhaps you may need to bring it indoors?

I throw them straight in the freezer too and grate them when still frozen tip from Mr Oliver works a treat.

I have grown chillies every year for quite a long time and find that they freeze well and can be chopped up from frozen. I don't blanche them.

I had dried and planted the seeds from chillies I used months ago. They have produced lovely plants filled with little green chillies . We noticed yesterday they are just turning red one at a time.

Yes 62Granny they should, mine, same type, are in the greenhouse and only just going from pale yellow to orange, it’s been an odd year in the garden.

First time planting chillies and the plants have loads of very thin yellow/ purplish chillies on them about half the size of my little finger, will they go red? or is it getting too late in the season ,the pot gets a lot of sun and they are watered regularly, they were planted about May but the pot got taken over by the chives and oregano I put in the same pot, but I have trimmed them back a little. They are Basket of fire chillies.
