I think I may of posted this a while ago but still haven’t found them. I love African Violets but never see them anywhere. I’ve looked on Amazon but the reviews are not good so if anyone sees them in any of the big shops that sell houseplants let me know. B&Q, Homebase and several of the big garden centres used to always have them but I can’t find any.
Thanks.

Tanith,
I saw the dark blue ones in waitrose earlier this week, I'm in East Anglia.
Dobbies had some as well, I think pink and blue.

I've just tidied mine up today, still flowering months after I was given them.

If you know anyone who has one you can grow them quite easily from a leaf

I have a pink one which I bought in a local garden centre some years ago. It has had a very good year, blooming almost continuously for almost the whole year. I was once given the advice that African violets do will if given cold tea and mine has thrived on the dregs of my teapot. I haven't seen any in Waitrose recently but yes, they were in the local Strikes garden centre yesterday.

Local florists?

I plant leaves in compost - they rarely end up like the parent, except the colour of course
