I get these, very durable and they only thing I have found that don't let thorns through. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B074FSFF93/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?th=1&tag=gransnetforum-21&ie=UTF8

I swear by these. I have to deal with a lot of brambles, gorse, and other pricklies. Even when well-used and old, these are great. Having trouble finding them is small size at the mo but I can still use the medium ones in winter with a pair of knitted gloves underneath.

Sorry, wrong brackets! confused

Can highly recommend No Cry leather gloves.
I bought them from Amazon (£15) when we were dealing with a jungle - brambles growing through pyracantha and holly up to roof height - such fun!! {confused}
They come in S, M and L sizes. Medium was fine for me, Large for OH.

Your welcome. I’ve no idea where ‘heat’ pruning came from! I typed ‘hard’ ?

Meant to add, if you don’t like the leather type, they do a professional range that is thorn proof fabric.

Thank you J52 looked on the website the leather ones look great and not that expensive flowers

I always buy Briers gardening gloves. They’re not very expensive and last a long time. I have the leather gauntlet type for heat pruning, and the lighter type for weeding and seed sowing.

Sorry if this question has been asked before but can anyone recommend good strong nice fitting gardening gloves? Need gloves that can withstand brambles, blackthorn etc. Really want them to fit reasonable well as hate trying to work in oversized gloves flowers
