It is a medium shrub growing wild. Must be very handy - north Scotland. Leaves are three lobed, soft and light green

It looks like flowering currant to me too Shrub. They grow wild all over our part of Northumberland. This one is outside my garden.

I think it's a flowering currant too. Does it smell of cat wee? If it does it's *definitely8 flowering currant grin

I first thought flowering currant but didn’t think they flowered so early. Hopefully the cuttings will grow ( not an indoor plant, just cuttings on my windowsill), had to battle 20 yards of gorse and heather to reach the bush.
