What is wrong with my oregano plant?

Hello everyone,
My best friend gave me some ceramic pots as a gift at my housewarming party. I didn't want those pots to go to waste so I decided to plant some of the herb seeds and some saplings. I started with a few of the saplings and for herbs I bought oregano seeds and planted them. All the saplings grown were a success except oregano seeds. I noticed the discoloration of the leaves in my oregano plant and it is unhealthy.
So, what is the reason for it and how can I protect my plant ?

You don’t say how large the pot is and if it has drain holes in the bottom. Oregano is a Mediterranean herb and likes free draining soils and sun.
It should be potted in compost with a large proportion of grit, to help the drainage and then placed in a sunny spot.
It sounds as if your Oregano could be in the wrong growing conditions.
