Epsom Salts for Plants

I use houseplant fertiliser, the only time I’ve used Epsom salt is on tomato plants

Wouldn't a normal house plant feed be safer?

Thanks Aggie .. just the answer I needed .. Short and sweet ...

Further thinking why would you want to apply Epsom Salts to your indoor plants? Are the plants looking yellow and suffering from magnesium deficiency? If not I would leave them alone.

It should only be applied once or twice a month in place of ordinary watering. You can also apply it by misting which indoor plants would probably prefer.

It’s great for box.

I consulted Dr Google and the formula is one tablespoon per gallon , but house plants weren’t mentioned , good for outdoors

Why do you want to use Epsom salts on your house plants ?
