Sonic cat scarers

Several of my neighbours have cats, and they seem to like to use my garden as their personal litter tray. Now, I love cats and have had them myself in the past but they are becoming a bit of a nuisance. I have to net all the raised beds for my vegetables until they grown large enough to cover most of the soil and any seedlings/newly planted small plants in the ornamental beds are regularly dug up and scattered. Not to mention the hazard to my young grandchildren when they are helping to weed the beds - which they love doing, luckily for me!

I'm thinking of buying one of those battery operated sonic things which emit a sound that cats don't like, in the hope that they will avoid my garden and use the very handy woods at the bottom of our houses or alternatively use someone else's garden for their ablutions. Has anyone else had any success with these, please? And what one would you recommend?

Many thanks!

We have two of them and are great. We have used various methods in the past with mixed success but these worked almost immediately. Can’t remember which website we bought them from but they gave a guarantee that if they didn’t work you could return them.
