This could be a Green King or a naturally occuring "sport ."

Have a Google to see the technique :
I'd be tempted to hybridise this tulip .
You never know .
Imagine , you could be the creator of a thrilling new hybrid .

Sarah Raven Green King tulips:
The petals look quite thick, more like leaves.

I don’t think it is, the petals are thick, more like leaves than normal tulip petals. It’s really odd.

Green King Tulip?

Are you suggesting a little shop of horrors type situation? 😅

😀several green ones with the dark ones would make a lovely display.

Look at this, have you seen anything like it before? It is in a pot with some parrot tulips which are now over, and some very dark ones - but just this one came up green, and has thick petals, not like a normal tulip. I don’t think it will make me a fortune, but it’s interesting.
