Blue and white bacopas - still going strong!

I have primroses flowering. They do so for most of the year, so don't know whether to say they are early or late!
My Bacopa in the shade are still flowering but those in the sun are long gone. Busy Lizzies, Fuchsias, Osteospermum, Geranium Rozanne and Calibrachoa are still a picture, as good as they have been all summer. Hope we don't have a frost yet!

lixy

All sorts of things seem to be having a late showing here. We have nasturtiums, snap dragons and marigolds going strong here and, of course, the grass is growing away more than ever.

I don’t have grass at home but I’m thinking of investing in a robot mower for my DS, whose ‘lawn’ I look after!

The robot mower is one of the best things I ever bought.

Yes my planters at the front are overflowing with Bicopa. The odd nasturtium is flowering as well.
The warm wet weather does have some bonuses. I always think that it’s after Nov 5th when the cold frosty weather begins.

Oddly my Bacopa is flowering better than it did all summer!

Witzend I take a fairly strong hose to the blackfly and that gets rid of most of them. The Nasturtiums can handle it smile The blackfly do come back eventually and then I do it again...

I used to grow nasturtiums, and often had them self-seeding - lovely colour well into September/early October, but the last lot were very soon absolutely covered in blackfly 🙁, so haven’t bothered with them since.

Nasturtiums have gone bonkers, all cream ones on first flowering, now orange, yellow and bicoloured have appeared in a second flowering. One solitary allium has produced a huge, white flower head. I cut the buddleia back hard after first flowering and now it is covered in blooms again.

Strange things going on with the garden at the moment. I have alyssum saxatile coming into flower on my rockery, and white arabis too. Nasturtiums and cosmos are going strong too.

I did have something else in that pot, but it had come to an end some time ago now.
