Cat repellent spray recommendations

A friend had a problem with cats using their lawn as a toilet and bought a sprayer with a sensor.
It worked really well if a cat was detected they were squirted with water.

No cats harmed (a little shocked) in the process.

Can anyone recommend a cat repellent spray for use in the garden … one that actually works!

I like cats but we’ve got blue tits nesting and all the local cats seem to be hanging around, ready to pounce😻

So far we’ve tried spraying white vinegar but it doesn’t appear to be working. I’ve looked at cat repellent sprays on Amazon but the reviews aren’t that good.

Obviously I want something that won’t harm the cats … just persuade them to go elsewhere and leave the blue tits nest alone!

Just wondered if anyone’s got any suggestions?
