Mystery plant/shrub - anyone know what it is?

I found this plant growing in a well-established border in my garden a few weeks ago. As I didn't recognise it as one of the plants I'd put in there, I pulled it up but have kept it in a pot to see what it grows into. I fear it's a week, but it has quite a woody stem so nothing that I recognise. It has very soft, slightly hairy leaves.

Does anyone know what it is, please?

PlantNet app says Pussy Willow

weed, not week. Thanks Jaxjacky, I'll have a look online. I don't have that plant in my garden, and as far as I know there are none in the neighbours' gardens, but perhaps it hitched a ride on a passing bird's wings!

Hard to make it out but could be a hydrangea. They can spread by root if neighbour has one.

It looks like Himalayan Balsam which is invasive so needs removing.

Goat Willow. Invasive and grows huge!

Looks like it's a heliotrope according to AI

I thought it was a very young hazel tree.

My thought to. midgey. I'm fairly sure that it's not a willow.
