RSPB advice is not to feed the birds May - October, perhaps the birds know that 🙂

You are allowed to put fat balls out though. The seed feeders spread disease apparently through warmer months but hard fat balls that don’t melt are okay to put out

There is no seed left anyway. It was devoured by the sparrows only

Husband just buys fat balls anywhere that seems cheap. Never noticed any difference. Mind you there is no competition from other houses around
