Can anyone tell me O Wise Ones, what is this shrub?

Japanese Mock Orange. Lovely scent. Council needs a kick.

Pittosporums are considered to be weeds here, strangely enough. The council likes you to get rid of them. I quite like them but they do spread here. Probably a different strain because the leaves are a bit shorter but similar flowers. Very strong perfume in Summer.

Thanks, that certainly looks like it! Scent is spot on, however the flowers are yellow rather than cream - and masses of them!

Could be a yellow Daphne. If it is it, I think that the flowers will probably have a distinctive sweet smell.

Here a much better pic from where it’s spilling over and largely hidden by our ‘jungle’.
I don’t think it can be a choisya - we have 3 of those but ‘ordinary’ ones. It’s fairly well scented.

Hard to tell from the photo, but if it smells divine(!) it might be Rhododendron luteum..

Possibly an azalea but if you post a closer picture it would be easier to make out the leaf and flower shape.
