Foolishly I bought some gardening gauntlets I saw advertised on Facebook and they were absolutely useless: no protection at all from thorns and nettles!
I've just begun a proper methodical search online (what I should have done ages ago) and found lots of likely candidates, but it would be good to have a first-hand endorsement of the all-round fitness for purpose and value for money of some possible products (with, perhaps, advice on where they can be bought from).
I would very much prefer vegan-friendly gauntlets if any are available that do their job effectively. Most of the ones I've looked at seem to involve leather.
