Yes I do, I think. I bought my GD a 99p fun pack for xmas. It contained a long piece of cord, bead sized wooden balls and instructions.
Is what you are thinking of along the lines you only use one length of string because you thread the beads in such a fashion it sort of loops throught the whole doll shape. Does that make sense. 
I might still have the instructions, I will see, if I have time.
Sometimes it’s just the small things that press the bruise isn’t it? 😢
