Later it was the Watneys Red Revolution, with their, to quote Monty Python, "Watney's bleedin' Red Barrel" as they tried to shift their ghastly keg beer.
Their tied pubs had red doors... a sad decline of a once great brewery.

It was called a twicer because it had ice cream inside the lolly.

A Pendleton's twicer was a yummy kind of ice lolly - almost as good as a frozen Jubbly, my personal favourite.
