I am happily searching for ancient family members on findmypast new sub present from my sister - already found a 5xgreat grandfather! She made it a world sub so I have the Irish records too.
However I have been making my way through a maze of various mistranscriptions of the name Tudor - one handed down as a first name and even ending up as TUCKER...but the originals show people's mistakes very well! So now I do know who it came from.
I'm fascinated by genealogy. My cousin (dad's brother's daughter) has beat me to our family tree though. Five generations of B tree available on line. We are trying find out about DH's father who was a Banardo's boy. DH knows nothing at all except the hone he grew up in. They have found him but it will take them a few months to prepare the information.
Re the Tudor name I must also contact the only other researcher on ancestry with the son Jeremiah Tudor Rogers on - about the mistrans, because he/she has some of them eg Tutor, Tudah and even Ludor........
