Primrose Day

I`ve never known anything about it`s meaning, but always remember my auntie`s birthday being on the 19th April, and her telling me it was Primrose Day. This is t5he first time I`ve known it mentioned since then, and it was an awfully long time ago.

I vaguely remember hearing about Primrose Day when I was quite small. Perhaps before our time?

I remember 'Primrose Teas'. When the local MP was invited to take tea with the Conservative ladies.

Not sure if it was anything to do with Primrose Day.
