Yes, I had mine done about 6 months ago and found several cousins had also had theirs done. I was able to confirm several ancestors on my tree were correct. smile

I think you can access Worldwide too at the library.

It’s always free to use Ancestry and other similar websites at your local library.

Perhaps people complained about it.

Spent the last three hours on there! No advert popping up today.

Thanks Jalima

It's not just me getting it then!

That advert is annoying, never had that before even on free weekends.

Jalima1108 Fri 24-Aug-18 18:04:38

No, I haven't Sparklefizz, sorry

As I am a member of Ancestry I thought I'd take a look to see if I could access the worldwide records but no. The free weekend gives access to British and Irish records only. However, be warned that, even though I logged in as usual and tried to do some more research, I had an advert popping up continually - every time I went back to the research pages in fact. Over half an hour that was about 12 times and very, very annoying.

Has anyone had their DNA tested via Ancestry? My results came through today but I have a query about interpreting them. TIA.

I will look to see if I can access any overseas records, thank you jusnoneed

Thanks so much Jusnoneed for the information, will be having a look ?

The website is free to use this weekend. I shall be seeing if anything new pops up for my family tree.
