Looking for copy of recent death certificate

I'd rather not go into much detail but I'm trying to obtain a copy of a death certificate for someone who died last summer (2025).
The G.R.O website only appears to let me search up to 2024.
This person was in a carehome and had no blood family.

I'd phone them with the persons name, dates and place of death and ask for the Certificate number, so you can order a paper copy of it by post. Costs around £15

anyone can order a copy, they won't care who you are.

If you know the local Register office they will provide copies. You may also be able to get a copy via the local council as long as you know name and date/place they died. Cost £12.50, the same as on GRO site.
