WOOT - Here it is, our very own shed ( Thanks GSHQ), real posh one too, no more old doors etc. it may be small on the outside but, inside, WOW, it's a tardis, plenty of room for everyone.
However it's a bit bare atm, contributions to make it homely greatly appreciated. BUT remember it's Granddads' shed, no chintz please.

Hope to see you all from time to time.

It is Mrs. P's pride and joy. It has all mod cons, comfy armchairs, TV, strawberry themed bunting (from Mybunting.co.uk) all very country cottage, to match the garden.

We have a shed summer house like that, pompa.

In our RL shed tonight, had our carpets cleaned todat, so the are still a bit damp.

Sitting in the shed with a large brandy, watching TV and checking out Gransnet, very peaceful. ( Mrs. P calls it a Summer house, but it's a posh shed really)

There is nothing quite like mud encrusted finger nails grin

pompa Mon 25-Jul-11 08:33:09

You have a good play in the mud if you wish, even roll in it if that's what floats your boat. I have some RL potting to do today, have some blueberries that need bigger pots.

ElseG Mon 25-Jul-11 08:27:19

Oh dear I have shot my bolt on another thread, need to come in here to run my fingers through the mud and do some potting. I know it is the wrong time of year but then we can virtually do what we like I guess smile

Thanks ElseG, they will set me up for another days work in the garden. Hope to finish the last of the construction work today -- putting up a linen pole for Mrs. P. Her old one was tied to the trees that have now been cut down.

Excuse me whilst I dump this bag of croissants here, a change for the weekend. Feel free to help yourselves and don't let them go to waste; ginger conserve and apricot jam to go with them. smile

Hi again, shedders! Lovely and peaceful in here today. The sun is over the yard arm and my chest hurts so I've brought a small white wine with me. Can somebody explain why it helps when my inhaler doesn't? Please note, teetotal worthies, this is all the wine I'll have today. smile

Think I may stay in here too, it is getting quite 'hot' out there
shock

ElseG Fri 22-Jul-11 09:16:53

Just popping the coffee on for those who would like it.

Baggy Fri 22-Jul-11 09:01:29

Hello shedders. Thanks for the toast, elseg. DD says I make 'juicy' toast. hmm

pompa Fri 22-Jul-11 08:54:40

Think I'll spend a quiet day in the shed, I sense an anti GD day coming up in other threads. brew

ElseG Fri 22-Jul-11 08:52:50

Forgot to mention, I picked up this fly trap plant it is supposed to be better than a Venus Fly Trap. Do you think space could be found for it in here?

ElseG Fri 22-Jul-11 08:49:53

Good morning again. Sorry to have to leave you to finish off the toast yesterday, housework called sad. Hope you all slept well and are ready to face the day (big yawn and stretch). Let me just dust up a few of yesterday's crumbs and I shall prepare a fresh batch of toast. Now, let me see; how do you like your tea . . . . .?

pompa Thu 21-Jul-11 10:07:38

Back to the RL garden for a while, have to construct a path around my new fruit area. That will hopefully complete all the construction work in the garden for the foreseeable future, look forward to planting in the autumn.

Good morning....I'll join you for toast and marmalade, but need coffee with mine.
A bit brighter here today and not quite so cold.

pompa Thu 21-Jul-11 09:41:47

Hello ElseG, welcome to the shed. Toast sound good, plenty of marmalade for me please.

ElseG Thu 21-Jul-11 09:02:12
