Took early retirement last year when my daughter was widowed, but yes jangly, I was the strictest teacher in my school. (In my own defence I have to say that at the end of each first term - once rules had been firmly established - I was also the most popular teacher.)

Most school nicknames I've come across are far from cute. shock

No, you're not, are you? confused

I had to type "confused" for that emoticon. That's my usual state! grin

My grandchildren all have lovely names - and they're always called by them.

Odd.

I've got several different nicknames for both of my grandsons. They seem to go along with it.

They are very patient with their granny.

Why do you need nicknames? surely the best name for any child is its given name

Now I have control over my laptop again......
...as the title says....are there any cute nicknames you have for your grandchildren?
For my youngest two, besides the one expected in August, I have mood nicknames for: Smiler and Giggles...depending on who's doing what....and for my fourth grandchild, Isabella, I have Lala as a nickname, borrowed from her father, and for my fifth, Ruby, I have Roo or RooRoo...again borrowed from her dad.....

So what are your cute nicknames, and for anyone who has teenager grandkids, have you got any nice but not embarrasing ones for them that I could use?
