Would love to be grandparents

Lynni You sound a very loving couple, but you would be better on Mumsnet, not Gransnet.
On here we are mainly already grandparents.

LynniWhilst I agree with ella about mumsnet being the best place have you thought of maybe asking to help part time at one of your local nurseries or being a part-time childrens assistant at one of the reception classes at your local schools,I know you will need to be CRB checked but once that is in place a loving couple like yourself would be invaluable.

We've had a couple of mums on here looking for grannies, so it's always worth checking in occasionally or bumping this thread up to the top from time to time.
