I would just like to say I am going to be a Great Grandma at the end of January after my Grandsons wife has sadly miscarried twice, thank goodness things are looking good for them
I just cant wait soooooo excited.

Congratulations how wonderful I. Hope all goes well.

My granddaughter had a son 2mths ago and it is a bit weird I am taking a real back seat so my daughter can be the granny I feel like I've had my turn so need to give them space to develop a bond, it's hard to find my role in this apart from the occasional visit/cuddle.

Lovely news. I have a three year old great grandson who is an absolute joy. They live in the same town as us so we see them regularly. The weirdest thing is getting my head round the fact that my son is now a grandfather and a doting grandfather too.
