what age do they whip their own bots

Started teaching mine when they were using the `big ` toilet at around 2 , a bit hit and miss at times but by 3 they were capable .

So much easier now with those wet toilet wipes which can go down the loo . Taught them to wash their own hands at the same age , I would guess 5 is quite old enough !

By DD is a primary teacher and has occasionally been asked by parents if there is someone in school to wipe their child' s bottom. ( the answer is NO)

My son used to call down "done them".
I guess around five as well although I can't remember. It is quite a skill to get it right when you can't see what you are doing.

The wet wipes do help but a small kid could get through a lot of them.

All children are different, but about aged 5 seems reasonable, keep wet wipes in the bathroom for her to use.

I have never whipped my own bot and I am 67!

Hilarious post! Yes, a five year old should definitely be whipping her own bottom, and wiping it as well. Ha-ha.

I used to dread the call from the bathroom "finished" when my daughter was little..
My hubby and I used to argue as to whose turn it was to do it.

Now I have a seven month old grandson, I expect history will be repeating itself.

If she comes home from school with clean knickers, then she can manage herself.
