Or "Lavender's Blue, dilly dilly" - Oh crumbs, when I write that, I can still hear Vera Lynn singing it.

Pat-a-cake Pat-a-cake Baker's man.

An early clapping song.

But the hard consonants may be a bit much for a littl'un.

Ring-a-ring-a-roses may be easier.

Tanith, great ideas. I`m a little teapot, with the actions would be a fantastic starter.

Hi everyone. I have just this evening joined so please be gentle with me and I apologies if I have navigated to the wrong part of the site. My granddaughter is 21 months old and becoming quite a chatterbox as they do. I would like to teach her a nursery rhyme as a surprise for her mum and dad. Any suggestions as to which would be the easiest/shorter/sweetest please. Thanks in advance
