DD is very keen that DGD age three should learn the proper names for body parts, and not use euphemisms. Naturally I support her in this, although to be honest I.cant see that the odd euphemism does any harm.
Anyway thus instructed, DGD was scrambling around the furniture, as little ones will do, when she bumped herself between the legs on the arm of a chair.
"Ohhhhh!" She wailed " I've hurt my 'china'!"
I'm afraid that's it now - euphemism or not, lady parts in our family will always be known as 'the china'.
Mattress causing back pain - or is it me getting old?? Advice please.
I’m finished my festival poncho
