I have self isolated 3 weeks. My son’s family will have self isolated 2 weeks at weekend. Can I go round and help with childcare after that. I am in seventies, children are toddlers. All in good shape.

We are all told to stay at home so the answer is no!

Government guidelines say you can't Laughterlines so please don't, and stay safe.

Stay at home
There are no exceptions if you want to stay safe

No contact between oldies and the rest of the family! Your life will be at risk if you mix with them.

Only if you all move in together , not using public transport to get there . You can’t keep coming and going .

Sorry but the answer is no. If you are needed for childcare it indicates your family need to go out to work, so you should not be there.

laughterlines according to your other post you have just screamed at a poor chap delivering leaflets, telling people to keep safe

what do you think everyone’s answer is going to be?

It is not recommended as the risk for catching the virus is still there. Until this pandemic ends, the safest way to stay connected is through zoom or texting. It’s hard for all of us but it’s the safest option right now.

I m amazed that you feel the need to ask this laughterlines you know the answer, so why the need to start a thread
Your post doesn’t make sense anyway you say your family have self isolated for two weeks and you for three? But the rest of the country have been in isolation for 2 months is this because you have all been in contact with CV or had it ?

I'd avoid going out to visit the family and you know that it is for the good. Honestly, better stay home and communicate with your son via Zoom.
