Does anyone have gift ideas for a 2 year old boy from grandparents ?

I’d ask the parents first.
If they aren’t much help, the John Lewis website has a good section of baby and toddler toys, inc. a wooden toys section. The reviews can be a good guide.

Or there’s always cash for a savings a/c, assuming he has one. At 2 he won’t be aware that there’s nothing to open from GPs.

Duplo, building toys, if you feel REALLY generous, a tablet specially designed for young children.

Lovely chunky jigsaws. Most things from Melissa and Doug. Nice quality, not hugely expensive.

I also got my grandson a BIG sand and water table. He loves it. Not the right weather right now, but he used it everyday in summer. Toddlers adore messy play.
