Surrogate Grandparent

My grandson isn't small, but I would love some surrogate family to gimme a break share him with.

In theory I think it's a wonderful idea, but life is so complex now.

Your request isn’t unusual on this forum . My response is always no, don’t even try this. Do some voluntary work, read to children in school (lots of excellent schemes) , joint Sure Start or similar. Surrogate grandparents -fraught with difficulties and best avoided.

My Granddaughter lives with her parents and other Grandparents in Australia and has a full and busy life.
I miss having a small child in my life and looking through previous topics, I know that this subject has been raised in the past. I just wondered if anyone had found any organisation which does link children with no Grandparent with someone who would love to be a surrogate Grandparent? Obviously I am happy to undergo a DBS check. Many thanks!
