But maybe the minutes hadn’t quite finished when you opened the doors and took it out
Of course it’s fine you’ve worked yourself up over nothing how can you poison anyone? worst you can do is cremate the food and you didn’t
Oh my goodness I hope you never have anything to really worry about that’s OTT you ve become very over anxious

i always turn it off at the wall socket before opening the door.
just in case opening/closing the door activates something.
but it sounds as if you may have over-cooked something maybe.
can't see how that would poison anyone.
under cooking is the risk.
you seem to be getting unduly anxious.
are other things bothering you ?

If you hadn’t tried to shut the door after cooking the food everything would have been the same as when you usually heat it. If the food was as hot as you always have it then it was fine.

Maybe there is a fault within the timer.

Earlier today I made my g.son and my lunch in the microwave. When it was done I took it out and shut the door. Then I opened the door back up and it started running. No one punched numbers or hit the start button. I closed it opened it up and it did the same thing. The food was hot.. cooked it longer than the time said, I asked my Husband if me and my grandson should eat the food, he said it should be fine, so we split it and ate it, then the panic set in, did I just serve my grandson poisoned food? I know it sounds crazy, I think I'm going crazy. But has anyone ever did this? What was the outcome? Scared out of my mind right now.
