Our grandson dressed up as Spider-Man for World Book Day recently. I thought I would buy him a Spider-Man comic to read. How disappointed I was! All I could find was shelves of cheap plastic toys and what amounted to a few pages of puzzles for £4.99! No actual traditional comic book stories…
As a child I used to be an avid reader of the imported Superman comics from our local newsagent, and lots of other British comics, e.g. Bunty and Judy for girls, TV21 (which was based on Gerry Anderson’s brilliant Thunderbirds, Stingray, etc.)
Are comic magazines not available nowadays?
Have any of you got all electric cars? Pros and cons please.
