Hello, Good Morning & HI. I am a newby here but, I hasten to add, how can I be classed as a newby at 80 years old? Things have been a bit rough for me recently and at the moment I am imprisoned in my own house. However, the warder, my wife, is a gem and looks after me very well. I hope she reads this then I may get an extra biscuit for tea. She has me to contend with, a budgie, and a big dog, both of whom are as old as me. The dog, Benny, is a rescue dog and is quite a handful. Benny is a Staffy and is big, black, hefty and barks at everyone he sees but only because he wants to make a fuss of them. People of course don't know this and give him a wide berth................ AAHHH, some cheese sarnies have arrived so I will pause here for my lunch and play with Joey after which I will return and tell you more. Bye for now, Brian.

Hello Sal, I have made about 3 contributions to other threads. Regarding opinions and advice we generally keep those to ourselves, we don't want to get into strong verbal discussions. We do have interests that we are willing to share but they are mostly pets. We just love 'em.

Hi Bella, I thought that you were thinking there is just one of us. Believe me. or should that be us, there are two of us but how do we prove it? You have seen pictures of Benny, GOT IT, here is a photo of Victoria going up the drive with him on her mobility cart. I took the photo. I can't walk Benny, I can't walk myself, but, let's make a film, 'KEEP ON LAUGHING'..

Mr and Mrs B, do you two ever read and contribute to the other threads on here or even start your own? I think if you stick to this one only you are missing out on all that GN has to offer. I am sure you have interests, opinions and advice which could be shared with more of us that way.smile
Have a good day!

No, I meant are you both on your computers simultaneously and corresponding with each other? Are there actually two of you? I get puzzled and confused easily.

bumblebee123 Sat 04-Mar-17 08:44:46

I've got a weak voice Bella and it takes that long to cross the room.

Brian.

That squirrel Shysal, is inside the netting. We had clever little bu****s like that. We do, however, have special squirrel feeders which every bird in the garden goes to to eat. It's one big happy familly out there, share and share alike. I'll be back later with a list of birds that dine here.

GrannyA, one of the kids programmes we really like is...

Nice little stories and the voices are great.

Not the van with men in white coats then?
I love seeing the wildlife although the squirrels can be a nuisance. This is my squirrel proof bird feeder! I have since bought another which works.

She means the grocery van...

He forgot to mention the wildlife that live in the house next door to us. They don't like animals or trees. We have numerous birds etc and a tree laden garden, but I don't care much about them any longer. I tried very hard to Be a good neighbour when I came to England in 2000 but after him trying to butcher my 40+ year old oak tree and some other instances -simply don't have the time or patience to even think about things I would like to do to his bald headed chauvinistic body. Then I take a deep breath, come back to reality and remember those things are against the law. The best thing is that the environmental folks paid us a visit because of his complaints about feeding our babies... but they told us we were just fine and we could continue as we were... that angered them, but they couldn't do anything about our babies. Oh well, back to the watching for van...

Hi Shysal, Oh how lucky you are to have badgers and muntjac. We have foxes here but not in the garden. We see them in the street. Our back garden is completely fenced in. We have lots of birds and squirrels. The squirrels give us hours of entertainment with their antics. They literally fly through the trees at an alarming speed chasing one another. I will make up a list of the birds we get.

We got so confused about logging in that it has caused complete chaos here.confused When I was trying to log in Victoria said to me, "Are you going in as yourself or me?"
"I'm going in as myself," I replied.
"Then why are you wearing my bra?" she retorted.
However, she is, OOPS, Victoria is going to stay logged in on the laptop as Honeybee and I am staying logged in as Bumblebee on the other computer. If anyone understands this then please explain it on the back of a dried up teabag.
Well, I am begining to smile again. angry
I SAID SMILE. smile
That's better. Brian.

entire summer outside. I just hit the wrong button and the first part of the msg was posted. Sorry about that, still getting to grips with a new type of keyboard. The laptop BB bought me is great but I type too fast and hit the wrong buttons sometimes. Going to checkout some other sites - have a good day... just honeybee

good morning all, just waiting groceries to arrive, early delivery this morning. Wretched rain again most of the afternoon so it looks as if benny will not be out as many times as he would like. Usually try to get him out at least three times, but on good days he gets four. Have to put him on my back to carry him home (not really) when we are on the road back on walk number four, but he still wants to go out again. He definitely prefers the outside spaces. Can't wait until he can spend the en

GrannyA, We also like Peppa Pig, better than watching all the violence, and Joey the budgie goes mad when he hears Thomas The Tank music. We join in whistling and singing when that is on. Oh, isn't it lovely to be daft. grin...

Brian.

Hey, Hey, We are up the pole here having to log in and out. We have reached a conclusion, whereby I will sign my christian name, Brian, and SWMBO will sign her christian name Victoria Mardelle, or, Victoria. Hope this is in keeping with the rules. Hence, I am me, Brian, and she is she, Victoria.

Brian...smile

Mr and Mrs B, I am totally confused now!

bumblebee123 Wed 01-Mar-17 13:59:59

he used my name by mistake but when I went to use my new name it said it wasn't mine....so I put it under his again.

GrannyA11i Wed 01-Mar-17 13:36:20

Hello! We do online shopping and DH goes to asda a lot as he like to get out of the house when he can escape! Of all the things we are coerced into watching with the grandchildren Peppa Pig is my one of my favourite! II can hum the theme tune too. Thomas the Tank is quite good as well but I hate Paw Patrol!
