Back from the fair...it was a regional Lacemaking, Quilting & Needlecraft show with 77 large & small stands featuring the various Guilds, exhibitions, & trade suppliers. Absolutely dazzling show, lovely to chat to craftsmen & women & so good to see that an effort is being made to actively promote crafts to the young. You could spend a fortune at these types of things but I never take plastic & limit myself to £20 (plus entrance fee) & I've come back with change!
cornergran - "breakthrough smiles" = sunshine peeping out from behind clouds!
maw - no semaphore hills here either; OH is dab hand at Morse if soop can receive! Hope party plans OK.
ann - My middle name's Anne, I pinched your "e".
Nana&G - no tiara when ironing, only worn when working outside so it can be seen!!
Galen - pearls "want to be worn", if you've got 'em, wear 'em - all of them - together!!
Right; need tea, I've been sipping water all day & need a bit of flavour. Lady Grey anyone? (I jest not, it really is my tea of choice)
Hope a bit of sun is smiling on one & all. I'm off to look at my purchases.
