Good morning Mick. Dull and cool here, but at least it's not raining.
Tiring day yesterday, so some supermarket shopping and catch up on the housework, while DH plays golf. I will enjoy having the house to myself and playing MY music.

We have had rain overnight in North Leicestershire bit it is a bright clear morning. Yet more desk work and then a visit from DD3 and children to here all about their trip to Eurodisney!

Good morning to you all, a little overcast here this morning and Marydoll we had rain last night, not a lot, and I am not sure if it penetrated the soil, but it did rain. We are off to have a boat ride and fish and chips on the Chichester Canal later on. A lovely ride, very soothing. Enjoy your days.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. It did rain here yesterday afternoon but none forecast here today.
Today is DH's last day at work before retirement. We are celebrating with a curry in town tonight and he is then off fishing in France for a week.

We went into town yesterday and got a soaking, the upside was we were did what we needed to do and were home within an hour. Nothing like icy rain to focus the mind.

Morning,all. As Greyduster says, looks like a sunny day in prospect. The heavier rain last night was much needed, for the plants and grass were looking a bit sad, but the rain has perked them up. We even had a few rumbles of thunder about 7pm.

Visiting mum this morning, yesterday she asked me for her earrings but she hasn't worn any for a few years so I doubt if I will get them in, ouch.

Good morning from the south east. I think the weather is getting better and the sun is half in half out, but may be fully out later. I have recovered from my root canal experience yesterday, but am still getting over the cost, horrendous Am also beginning to realise how much dental and eye care all mounts up as one gets older.

Greyduster hope you get to Bakewell, it's so lovey and I had the best piece of Bakewell tart ever there, which was most appropriate.

Well, I am not going to Bakewell after all. I am going to take my leg (well, both of them actually but one wants to go and the other doesn't want to go anywhere!!) to the doctors. Managed to get an appointment this morning - miracles do happen!
