On the weekend of 16-18 June, neighbourhoods are getting together to celebrate our communities and making an effort to get to know each other. If you're doing something, let us know on the thread, or check out your Gransnet Local forums to see if anything's being organised near you. Or you could start your own and see if anyone's up for it. Full details and a helpful pack of tips and ideas available here.

We'll also be running an online Gransnet (off)street party - more details to follow.

There is a Great Get Together being planned at Firstsite, Colchester, Essex on Sunday 18th June at 11am. More details here bit.ly/2rvJkU1 and a local thread on local.gransnet.com/colchester

I will mention it to my small number of neighbours, we all know each other anyway but a Summer get together may be ncie ( we only do if for Christmas.)

Just to let you know about a couple of fun events here in Suffolk this weekend. You'll be just as welcome if you are here on hols, or visiting, as if you are local.

There's a coffee and cake Great Get Together in Bungay Library on Friday
