Good morning Mick. In the middle of a thunderstorm at present and it is a tad muggy.
School run this afternoon, entails 45 minute drive, hope it quietens down before then.
GP appointment reveals I have rotator cuff problem and explains the stiffness and pain in the shoulder.

It isn't quite so hit and sticky today in North Leicestershire - thank goodness as I have the school run too. Mine involves a 45 minute drive too but only a 5 minute walk when I actually get there.

Hope your shoulder feels better soon, Harri, it's quite debilitating isn't it?

Good morning from sunny Colchester. There was a cool breeze here yesterday and I slept well. We live right on the line on the TV weather maps, so today could be 24 or 32?
Dentist appointment followed by Wednesday coffee meet up.
Must remember to put the bins out tonight as the council have changed the day....it's chaos!

Off to see Celine Dion in concert this evening with DD 2.

It's going to be another hot one! So I'm making jam with all the strawberries DH picked yesterday while I was babysitting. Only one batch as I can't stand for too long. Freezing the rest - and the gooseberries. PYO is addictive!

Morning All. Clear blue sky, bit of a breeze in our corner of Somerset. We're forecast 80 degrees plus later then it cools down. Won't be doing a lot, enjoy it while we can. Careful with your shoulder harri, the concert sounds fun ginny. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.

Good morning everyone - still hot here on the south coast but there is a little breeze which helps. At least we don't have to face crowded transport and work so must be grateful for that.

Choir this evening and rehearsing for our next public performance on 8 July at a charity day raising funds for the local hospital's rheumatology department.

An unexpected meeting with D last night halfway between hers and ours for dinner, only so she could borrow something It was good to see her though.

Dull and very clammy here. Heavy rain forecast today. Off to town for lunch with retired colleagues, where we will put the world to rights.
Agonising over what to wear, as too hot for jacket, but I'm going to get soaked. Minor worry compared to some that our grans have! Enjoy your day all.

Very hot at moment here in Yorkshire rain supposed to arrive late afternoon washer on at moment so hope to get washing dry then x
