Cool grey and damp in Tynedale. Just about to set off for Harrogate, and a couple of nights away. Going to the Harlow Carr flower show.

Morning all! Much fresher here on the south coast and we had a cooler night so slept better. Just one quick shower yesterday but it barely wet the flags! Roses and pots all look very good.

Just cooked a piece of gammon and made a French lentil and bacon salad ready for DS and family coming for the weekend. More cooking to do but I like to have something on stand by in case they arrive early!

Morning....nice and cool today in Bedfordshire, thunder in Leighton buzzard yesterday but no lightening and not much rain. In Costa's enjoying a skinny cortado before I shop smile

Much cooler in Norfolk this morning, with a light breeze and high cloud. Much more like a proper English summer! And no plans for the day apart from collecting DGS from nursery. May make some jam.
