It's brightish with high cloud in North Leicestershire but it looks pretty breezy. Shopping for DD2's birthday today and a takeaway curry tonight.

Bright here in Norfolk with clearing high cloud. Should be a lovely day according to the forecast - which probably means rain by lunchtime!

Out for a Thai meal this evening with friends. He's celebrating his retirement.

Morning all! There is a layer of high cloud here on the south coast so fingers crossed for a nice day.

The Red Arrows went over us twice yesterday on their way to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. There is something very exciting about seeing them flying in such close formation but I couldn't help thinking of the terrible crash at Shoreham Air Show two years ago.

Still waiting to hear the latest from my sister about her DH. Makes me recall your situation with your Mum Kitty.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Just watching the weather forecast. We had above average June temperatures and below average rainfall here. Nice day today though.
Our plans have been cancelled so we are at a loose end. Already had a lie in.

Good morning all. It is overcast here in Cheshire now but the sky is brighter than yesterday. I think is should be lifting. I need to get out into the garden. I really feel better when I am out there.

I will get dressed first, gardening in a dressing gown is not good, the hem of my dressing gown will get muddy.

Good morning , it's sunny in St.Andrews today , the first nice day in about a week ! I've had my heating on all week so today's sun is a delight !

Good morning from Lancashire. I've had the heating on too, it's looking brighter today though. We have a busy weekend with DGC so I'm making the most of this quiet morning.
Visited mum in the care home yesterday and after weeks of her not talking to me she had perked up yesterday, I'm amazed.
