Good morning from an overcast Colchester.
Garrison Open Day today. A free showcase of our local paras. Great fun!
Whatever we find in the freezer tonight. We are never organised when it comes to meals.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The rain is coming down in stair rods here in South Yorkshire at the mo. I hope it clears because we are supposed to be going to a summer fete today which is a fundraiser for our junior football club. GS and DH are not awake yet, so I am having five quiet minutes.......

Dull and overcast in the north of Norfolk too. A pottering day today. A bit of ironing, light weeding in the garden and paper reading I think.

The summer is flying by isn't it?

No idea what we having for dinner - DH cooks so for me, it's usually a surprise!

I wish the winter went as quickly as the summer!!!

Will get into the garden I think, everything quietens now this month before the big autumn clear up. I think I shall start planning what spring bulbs I need

It's a little cloudy in North Leicestershire but the forecast doesn't contain rain.

Usual Saturday trip to the village then some gardening today and home made chicken fried rice for supper.
